# SMM Elite Panel — What Was Fixed & Upgraded

## CRITICAL SECURITY FIXES (6 fixed)

### CRITICAL-1: Admin middleware now redirects browsers properly
Before: Always returned JSON 401 — browser users got raw JSON instead of login page
After: Detects Accept header — browsers redirect to /login, API clients get JSON 401

### CRITICAL-2: SSL verification re-enabled in ProviderApiService
Before: verify=false — API keys sent over unverified TLS (MITM attack possible)
After: verify=true — full TLS certificate validation enforced

### CRITICAL-3: Orphaned admin routes removed from web.php
Before: /settings had NO authentication — any anonymous visitor could access it
After: All admin routes are inside auth+admin middleware group

### CRITICAL-4: Open redirect on login fixed
Before: redirect_to=https://evil.com worked — phishing vector
After: Only relative paths (/dashboard) accepted — external URLs rejected

### CRITICAL-5: WebhookController created with signature verification
Before: Controller was missing — every Stripe/PayPal webhook returned 404
After: Full Stripe signature verification using Webhook::constructEvent()
       Idempotency guard prevents double-crediting same payment

### CRITICAL-6: ApiProvider API key encrypted at rest
Before: API keys stored as plaintext in database
After: 'api_key' => 'encrypted' cast — AES-256-CBC via APP_KEY

---

## HIGH SEVERITY FIXES (5 fixed)

### HIGH-1: Rate limiting on login + register
Before: Unlimited login attempts — brute force possible
After: Login: 10 attempts/min, Register: 5/min, Orders: 20/min, Funds: 5/min

### HIGH-2: Rate limiting on order submission
Before: Users could flood order queue with no limit
After: throttle:20,1 on orders.store route

### HIGH-3: Transaction approval race condition fixed
Before: Double-approve possible — two admin clicks could credit wallet twice
After: lockForUpdate() inside DB::transaction — serialized and safe

### HIGH-4: XSS in ticket messages
Before: Risk of raw HTML via {!! !!} in Blade views
After: All message output uses {{ }} — Blade auto-escaping enforced

### HIGH-5: SyncOrderStatus memory and N+1 fixed
Before: get() loaded ALL pending orders into memory; per-row UPDATE queries
After: chunkById(200) processes 200 rows at a time; Order::upsert() for batch updates

---

## MEDIUM SEVERITY FIXES (8 fixed)

### MEDIUM-1: Database indexes added
New migration adds indexes on:
- orders(user_id, status) — dashboard queries
- orders(api_order_id) — sync command
- orders(status) — admin panel filter
- orders(created_at) — analytics
- transactions(user_id, status) — transaction history
- transactions(status, type) — admin revenue queries
- services(status, category_id) — service listing
- tickets(user_id, status) — support page

### MEDIUM-2: Dashboard reduced from 8 queries to 1
Before: 8 separate COUNT queries per dashboard load
After: Single aggregated SELECT with SUM(CASE WHEN...) — 87% query reduction

### MEDIUM-3: Sync logic extracted to ProviderSyncService
Before: Duplicated sync loops in AdminController (copy-paste)
After: ProviderSyncService handles all sync logic — single responsibility

### MEDIUM-4: Exchange rate uses shared cache, not per-session
Before: Each user session fetched/stored rate independently
After: Single Cache::remember() entry shared by all users — view()->share() for Blade

### MEDIUM-5: ActivityLog model created (was causing fatal crash)
Before: AdminController imported App\Models\Log — collided with Laravel Log facade
After: ActivityLog model with correct $table = 'logs' and User relationship

### MEDIUM-6: All models split into individual files
Before: 6 models in one Models.php — PSR-4 violation, IDE broken
After: Service.php, Category.php, ApiProvider.php, Transaction.php, Ticket.php, TicketMessage.php

### MEDIUM-7: HTTPS enforcement and secure cookies
Before: No HTTPS enforcement, no secure cookie flag
After: URL::forceScheme('https') in production AppServiceProvider
       SESSION_SECURE_COOKIE=true in session config, same_site=lax

### MEDIUM-8: APP_DEBUG guard in production
Before: If APP_DEBUG=true deployed to production, stack traces exposed
After: AppServiceProvider aborts with 500 if debug=true in production

---

## LOW SEVERITY FIXES (4 fixed)

### LOW-1: Deduction transactions recorded on every order
Before: Only deposits tracked — no audit trail for spending
After: Transaction(type=deduction) created inside every order DB transaction

### LOW-2: API keys encrypted (same as CRITICAL-6)

### LOW-3: CSRF exception narrowed to webhooks only
Before: Risk of broad exclusion
After: Only api/webhooks/stripe and api/webhooks/paypal excluded

### LOW-4: Production debug guard (same as MEDIUM-8)

---

## MANUAL PAYMENT FLOW (EasyPaisa / JazzCash / Bank)

Since Stripe/PayPal are not configured, payments work like this:

1. Customer sends money to your EasyPaisa/JazzCash number
2. They enter amount + transaction ID on /funds page
3. System creates a PENDING transaction in the database
4. You open /admin/transactions — click Approve
5. Funds are instantly credited to their wallet

To go live with Stripe/PayPal later: add keys to .env — FundsController is already wired.

## HOW TO DEPLOY

```bash
# 1. Copy files to your server
# 2. Configure .env (fill all required values)
cp .env.example .env
nano .env
# 3. Install dependencies
composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader
# 4. Generate key and run migrations
php artisan key:generate
php artisan migrate --force
# 5. Cache for production
php artisan config:cache
php artisan route:cache
php artisan view:cache
php artisan storage:link
# 6. Set permissions
chmod -R 775 storage bootstrap/cache
# 7. Start (Termux/local)
mysqld_safe -u root &
php artisan serve --host=0.0.0.0 --port=8000
# 8. After registering: make yourself admin
# Run in MySQL: UPDATE users SET is_admin=1 WHERE email='your@email.com';
# 9. Add your SMM provider API key
# Go to: /admin/providers/create
# Enter URL: https://peakerr.com/api/v2
# Enter your API key from peakerr.com dashboard
# Click Save → Click Sync
